    Tam says:

As much as I adore the fairy wings, I think my fav is the Baroque Jacket Redux. One – it’s accessible (aka something you can don when not corsetted or otherwise glammed). Two – it took the tutorial and made it personal to the crafter – it wasn’t a copy, and including a quilting panel made it not only visually striking, but personally tailored to her crafting preference.

And third – inspirational — I plan on practicing my embroidery designs on my summer hoodies (cheap ones I picked up at the dollar store and wear to death) and a baroque-punk one is definitely on the list!

It is very difficult to chose, each project is unique and so creative. Every time I get inspired by the labor of love each “artist” put into their project. And what not to love about those incredible designs like the rubber duck collection, monsters and robots. I was impressed by the ducky quilt embroidered by hand…and felt in love with the white steampunk jacket. Thank you for all the inspirations week after week.

There are such wonderful projects, it’s hard to pick. I can’t believe
how talented people can be. The projects that I find the most impressive are the big one such as the clowns or the steam punk prom dress. I which I had time for such undertaking! Probably one day, when my kids are grown up and I don’t have to do so much taxi driving!

Thanks UT for such wonderful designs!

Love the prom dress!! That girl has style and charisma and a true’s artist soul. I also thought the clown outfit and shoes were sick! But that prom dress steals the show. Totally unique and bold. That mama who made it for her daughter rocks!

The Steampunk Prom Dress. Mainly because it shows how much her mother cares for her in spending all that time and energy.
