Wonderful! I would like to buy that but first I want to know what kind of backing whould I use to stitch that? I have to see if it is available here. Thank you and I am already one of your biggest fans!!!

We recommend using a heavy duty water soluble stabilizer for lace, something like Sulky Ultra Solvy is a favorite of ours!

In this video was a glimpse of your ‘thread cones storage wall’ with all the cones on dowels and drilled into something, wallboard maybe. Could you give brief description how to make smaller version to start with. I am desperatately in need of a more organized at a glance storage system. Thank u!

Just got the April issue of Vanity Fair magazine. The inside cover pullout has 4 pages of the new Ralph Lauren Collection and another page on page 32. Check it out. He has used LACE that looks just like the EVENFALL LACE!. It is on the collars, cuffs and pocket flaps of a blazer and all over, in Gold, of the Bullfighter style jacket. And the purse on page 32 is cutout lace in leather. Once again UT is right at the forefront of the latest in Haute Couture.

I am making the mask in several colors for my family for Halloween. I bought some machine quilting cotton thread to do them but after one the fuzz and lint was unreal. I went to metallic and it seems to be doing well. I love your designs. My question is, does the ultra solvy leave a little residue that would act as a stiffner?

    • Michele, I use the polyester thread. It turns out great. The best thing I have found is after you rince the backing off just dry with a warm iron and us some fabric startch for stiffing. These are so beautiful! UT is my go to for fresh ideas.

I have purchased one of your designs and, as a complete newbie, don’t know what to do next! I have a Pfaff computerised sewing/embroidery machine, and also a Seagate Slim portable drive, and a laptop pc.
