Lindsay Hartwell is a jack-of-most-trades artist specializing in one of a kind notecards. She's been painting, sewing, beading, and crafting for over 16 years. She's been featured in the Weekly Volcano, a local indie newspaper from Tacoma, Washington, for her jewelry.

Her notecards are blank inside to allow the giver to write a note, expressing themselves without the help of a corny line. She makes each notecard an original - no two will ever be the same. With a background in graphic design for print, she's able to create custom printed invitations. You can contact her for commissions at lindstar@hotmail.com.

Her recently acquired Brother sewing machine has enabled her to embroider all the awesome designs she finds onto her notecards - and whatever else she finds to embellish. Her favorite subjects to embroider are tea time, Alice in Wonderland, birds, household objects, and mushrooms.

Currently her cards are being sold at a few choice Puget Sound shops and on Etsy, along with some other awesome embroidery ... under the username Lindstar. She recently started a crafting blog at brooklynechaos.wordpress.com. Her cards can be viewed at lindstar.deviantart.com.
