Jolene Schultz is a freelance illustrator and designer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her preferred medium is acrylic paint, but is always looking for new ways to use materials. Her themes are often inspired by serious topics, but always include a bit of humor. Her work can range from realistic to stylized and everything in between.
Jolene’s inspirations include but are not limited to: discarded or abandoned items, overheard conversations, funny things and/or people in the world, and public radio. Several of her clients include Z.Vex Effects, Picture Window Books, Air America Minnesota Radio, and the Rake Magazine. Her work has been recognized and awarded by the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, CMYK Magazine, and Creative Quarterly.
