Karen O'Bryan is an illustrator and designer currently residing in sunny San Francisco after having survived many, many winters in Iowa and Minnesota. She received a BFA in illustration from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2007, and has enjoyed growing and evolving as a professional artist since.

Karen finds inspiration from aspects of everyday life and social situations, but also from past experiences, memories and dreams. Her work often is comprised of a main focal point, either a person, animal or object, and filled or surrounded by a pattern of lines and colors.
