Lindsay Hartwell is a jack-of-most-trades
artist specializing in one of a kind
journals. She's been painting, sewing,
beading, and crafting for over 16 years.
She's been featured in the Weekly
Volcano, a local indie newspaper from
Tacoma, Washington, for her jewelry.
She makes each journal an original - no two
will ever be the same - so they are
numbered. They're typically made from
recycled materials or rescued vintage
fabric. But if a fabric really speaks to
her, she'll use that as well. You can
contact her for commissions at
hedgehogandrabbit@gmail.com.
Her recently acquired Brother sewing machine
has enabled her to embroider all the awesome
designs she finds onto her journals - and
whatever else she finds to embellish. Her
favorite subjects to embroider are tea time,
birds, household objects, cephalopods,
rabbits and mushrooms.
She can be found on Etsy selling the
different crafts she makes in her studio
under the username
HedgehogandRabbit. She recently started
a crafting blog at
hedgehogandrabbit.com and makes one of a
kind handbound journals you can find at
shop.hedgehogandrabbit.com.
