Stephen Thomas is a Minneapolis-based illustrator who has spent the last two years freelancing and working for 161 Design. A graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (B.F.A. Illustration '07), he finds most of his creative inspiration in his love for music, movies, old people, Japan, and anything with a lot of texture. His preferred mediums are ball point pen, watercolor, ink, and digital media. When not at work, most of his time is devoted to friends, family and his obsession with DJing and buying records.

Recently, his other clients have included Lizardfish Graphics, V.swish Salon Solutions, The Text Book Advantage Company, Acqua Restaurant/Wine Bar, and the Breckenridge Music Festival.
