Indigo Kelleigh is the cartoonist behind the
graphic-novel-in-progress Ellie Connelly
and the Eye of the Vortex, which can be
read at www.ellieconnelly.com.
Equally comfortable drawing digitally as
with traditional methods in pen & ink, Indy
has been working for years to hone his
skill, and has been creating his own
self-published comics since he was in
middle-school.
Initially
active in the mail-trading minicomic days of
the late ‘80s, Indy self-published his first
comic book,
The Circle Weave:
Apprentice To A God in 1995. He
eventually moved the story to the web in the
early 2000s, and has since moved on to his
new work with Ellie Connelly. He continues
to create animations, designs and concept
art for
various corporate clients including Nike and
Hasbro, while also developing a career in
illustration and comic storytelling.
Indigo
currently shares a work-studio space with
several other cartoonists and illustrators
in northwest
Portland,
Oregon, and maintains a blog-folio of recent works at http://www.lunarbistro.com.
