Nic Skrade has been tattooing for 19 years, and is a self taught artist. He enjoys working with watercolor, oils, sculpture, digital, pen and ink – in short, he says, “I love making art.” Nic is the founder and half owner of Uptown Tattoo, a tattoo shop in Minneapolis. He describes his style as drawing illustrations “that look like they came from another time, but are contemporary.” In his spare time, Nic works out, hangs out with his wife and kids, and paints, draws and tattoos.
