Pin It to Win It Pack Contest!

*EDIT – Contest closed! Thanks to all who entered*

We’ve got a fun and quick little contest for you this weekend that will see one lucky person WIN their favorite Urban Threads design pack! Yup, you can win a whole pack for free, any pack on the site, by taking part in the Pin It to Win It Contest, open through this weekend.

How does it work? Well, if you haven’t heard of it yet, there’s this pretty fantastic place called Pinterest that we love to hang out on. It’s a place where you can “pin” photos of all your favorite images of projects, ideas, and products that you want to share. We even have a Pin It button built in to all the products on the site!

So all you need to do to enter the contest is follow these easy steps…

First find your absolute favorite design pack you’d like to have that you don’t. You can look through them all by going here, or clicking the Design Pack link on the left nav of the Urban Threads website. The important part of this is that you can only pick ONE pack to pin. Once you have chosen which pack would be your fave pack to win, you can click that little “Pin It” button above the pack.

Pin a pack you do not already own! It would be silly to get it twice.

If you have an account already, a little window will pop up. If you don’t have an account, you’ll be asked to make one. It’s super easy and you can even do it through facebook or twitter.

Pin it to any board to like, but make sure somewhere in the description you add the hashtag #myfavoriteembroidery. It can say other things, or say just that, but make sure you have that hashtag on there! That’s how we can see you’ve entered.

Once you’ve added the hashtag, click the “Pin It” button.

Then, go to your Pinterest account or board and MAKE SURE the pin showed up with the hashtag! Sometimes it takes a couple of minutes, but you’ll want to make sure the pin worked. You should see it on your board like so. That’s it! You’ve entered the contest, and if you win, you win that pack!

Now, this is important. Don’t pin more than one design pack with the hashtag! You can pin as many designs, packs, and projects as you like from the site, but only pick ONE to have the #myfavoriteembroidery hashtag on it. Multiple entries will not be counted, so play fair!

Always wanted the Evenfall Lace pack, but just weren’t sure if you were going to use it? This is the perfect time to pin it and win it for free! Maybe you wished you had gotten the Parisian Love Letter series on sale and you’ve been waiting for another chance to grab it. Pin it and it could be yours!

This contest is open from now until Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at noon Central time. That means you have all through the weekend and even until lunchtime Monday to choose and pin your favorite pack. Once you’ve pinned your entry into the contest, have fun pinning other designs, tutorials or inspiration to your board for later use! Pinterest is totally fun and way addictive, and it’s a great way to share what you love with the world and discover new things!

So remember, pin ONE pack, with #myfavoriteembroidery before lunchtime on Monday to enter, and one lucky person gets their pack for free.

Happy pinning, people!

Ever since I saw that first design, it was love at first sight! The darkly styled figures of nature give pause and thought to embroidery. What looks like a simple creature of nature becomes the stuff of nightmares on closer inspection. Just love it!!!
