Tutorial – Thread Mini Sampler

I just love how simple and cute this Thread Mini Sampler idea is from &Stitches. It’s one simple stitch using different weights of thread and it’s totally adorable. What a great way to practice your stitches, and a really fantastic way for beginners to jump into hand embroidery and get a great final piece out of it.

That’s really cute! Another great source is the Take a Stitch Tuesday thing at Pintangle. (http://pintangle.com/category/challenges/take-a-stitch-tuesday/)

Every week they take a different stitch, starting with the very simplest, and everyone shares a sampler they made with it. I, sadlyl, lost track doing it when Life got in the way, but it’s a lot of fun and I learned half a dozen new stitches I love in the short time I did it.
