Instagram Office Tour

A mini behind the scenes with Instagram on a busy Thursday afternoon at Urban Threads. Look closely and you might spot some sneak peek projects…

Diet coke runs this office. Small yetis don't hurt either.

That sign comes in useful sometimes.

A little sneak peek at a prototype of something... Shhh.

Stitchin' something brand new...

270 days.

Hallway art. And life motto.

All the pretty colors...

My cube wall.

After a long hard day

Hiding like a ninja.

Stitch samples

Sketches in the works...

Happy Thursday!

*sigh* Either I need a wall of thread, or another cup of tea.

I am stunned! I thought I was the only one who had “take over the world” of her “to do” list! The thread looks like candies!

I’m amazed people actually put the thread back in its place! Nice tour.

Wait! Wait! I saw a few designs I’d like to purchase! Things such as,
“In case of craft related stress…” and
“Welcome to the Sewing Room… it has been_________days…”
    “If all else fails…”
Will they ever be listed in your inventory?

I love your play room! It’s awesome. Do you allow visitors for a few days? I think if I ended up there I’d have permanent painful ribs from laughing constantly. Keep up the great work, love your designs!

What is that “mouse” type thingy with the buttons on it? Thanks for the tour! Where are you located? Love your work!

That’s one of the tools our digitizers use to create our designs! And we’re located just outside beautiful Minneapolis, Minnesota 🙂

Ooh, ooh, ooh! Excited by your previous response to the Let’s Do Science as an embroidery design. I need that for my son’s robotics team! Please make it in 4×4! I would love to put that on bags for the mentors next year! This year I just did simple lettering that was built into my machine, but I made & embroidered 39 drawstring backpacks in less than a month while working full time & everything else my kids are into. Happy, happy…can’t wait to see the final design!

btw, one of the teachers of the robotics program has a similar in case of stress bang head here sign right by the door of his classroom (in which he also teaches aeronautical engineering.)

In addition to the one that says Let’s do Science you need another one that says Lets do Technology with a computer chip or something on his chest. Just a thought!

Or even, “Stand back! I’m going to try science!” 😀
