Stunning Threads of the Marchesa Fall Collection

I really want to know everything and maybe nothing more about that skeleton dress. The delicate beadwork embroidery is just so divine with a dash of macabre, maybe it doesn’t need any more explanation.

These beautiful examples of embroidered fashion are from the new Marchesa Fall 2012 Ready to Wear collection, and embroidery is everywhere on this line. I’m in love. It’s a little bit McQueen (whom I adore) but I can’t really fault them for that. Who wouldn’t want to go over the top baroque gothic when you get the chance? Especially when embroidery is involved.

We’ve floated embroidery on sheer fabric before, but that top delicate skeleton beadwork makes me want to go back and try it all over again.

Excuse me, I need to go find some organza…

The skeleton dress is STUNNING but I am partial to the red. It’s elegant and cheeky all at the same time. I’m gonna hunt up the dancer’s nude mesh that I have hiding somewhere in my stash.
