And the winner is…

Congrats to Michelle, randomly selected winner of the Pay It Forward contest! These are her cute canines Max and Moehre (it means “carrot” in German), modeling their swank new bandanas with some hip Rescue embroidery.

And a big huzzah to everyone who entered! You’ve been doing all kinds of great things with this design, from stitching it for your own rescue pets to making fundraiser items to gifting rescue volunteers with their own little bit of personalized stitchery. Looking to hone your machine embroidery skills, or perhaps start into the medium as a newbie? Modern Domestic is featuring a contest where you can win a free spot in their Sept 14 DIY Embroidery class!

Modern Domestic is a sewing studio and retail space in Portland, Oregon offering two fully equipped classrooms, a comfortable seating area and a growing community of creative makers. They’re big into discovering new ways to create and display modern, exciting machine embroidery, and we’re just all about that.

They also are Urban Threads stitchers, and have some super cute UT covered projects they featured in the post.

Adorable? I think so.

I would wear this all the time in the kitchen…
